Our History

Our bank The Valanchery Service Co-Operative Bank Ltd No M 728, was formerly known as Kuttippuram Producers Cum Consumers Co-Operative Society, started its business on 31-08-1946. And the same has been reshuffled as Kuttippuram Rural Co-Operative Society on 31-12-1955, and as Kuttippuram Service Co-Operative Bank Ltd No F 1253 in 15/06/1965.

Valanchery Service Co-Operative Bank Ltd No M 728 was formed out of the bifurcation of the Kuttippuram Service Co-Operative Bank Ltd No F 1253 as per the order No:C R P(2)5496/03 Dt:21-08-2003 of The Joint Registrar of Co-Operative Societies, having the area of operation within valanchery Muncipality.

Now our concern is functioning with 5 branches at major centers like Valanchery, Thozhuvanur, Kanhippura and Markaz Moodal. In addition to that we have a Evening Branch at heart of our city. Our bank had categorized as Class I Special Grade since 1984 onwards. Within a short span of time our bank made spectacular victory in mobilizing deposits and disbursing the different kinds of loans to our members. Our funds is maintaining with M.D.C.B.Ltd as Term Deposit and functioning independently with our own funds. In addition to banking business we are carrying out non-banking business like conducting Seasonal Markets during the festival season and Special markets with the view of controlling the price hike of essential commodities.
